Ah ok, I found the pets. Seems quite a selection once you reach a certain level. My kid has decided he wants the cockroach for a pet.

I have no clue what they do other than follow you around. They don't have any powers or anything, they're just pets kinda like sidekicks.

You missed out on all the fun after you left! I became a target in Booty Bay for some high level jerkoff who kept picking me off shortly after I resurrected. Three dashing level 60 Hordesmen defended my honor. ;)

Booty Bay is a goblin run neutral travel point meaning both Horde and Alliance can travel through there. I followed a guy on his quest to some place where he had to go through like 48 treasure chests in a pirate ship. He briefly helped me earlier but decided he didn't want to and I figured I'd help him out a bit and off we went to Ogrimarr (sp) and beyond. I wasn't too keen on the loot settings he made so when MM gave me a shout out I asked him and the crew to come get me outta there being they wern't far away, which thankfully they did. Somebody (can't remember who) jumped ship at Booty Bay so we all ended up swimming for the docks.

What I saw of the place is pretty cool and there are alot of shops and traders that one can get supplies from. I think they have an auction house there but I don't remember. I saw alot of higher levelled characters there and alot of dueling. Of course, what I saw most of was the cemetary. :/

This Alliance character, can't remember but I think human, started waving at me and blowing kisses and stuff. Then he sent me a whisper saying I looked pretty hot and next thing I know I see a crossbow. I had just enough time to tell the guys that I thought this guy was targetting me before he shot me. The dude jumped and dissapeared. I resurrected just in time for him to pick me off again. He did this several times while the guys went looking for him. I finally thought to stay a ghost to look for him and I found him in a nearby building, gave the word and all hell broke loose when one of the guys proceeded to give him a lesson in manners.

Hehehe, I know, I know, my n00biness will show but I thought it was so cute seeing the three of them surrounding me to protect me.

I gotta say, after all that, watching them duel each other and listening to the enormous amount of strategizing they do, it was probably the best time I've had and I wasn't doing anything but following, getting killed, listening, taking notes and asking a few questions here and there. I am deeply honored that they came and got my worthless level 16 ass and dragged me around with them.

Oh yeah! Something else really cool occurred before all that! I was grinding the herbages and got down to the lakeshore and there was another doing the same. We helped each other with some kills and I got close to some camp with a treasure chest, which of course I worked my way closer to as was he. He sent me a message saying to go ahead for the chest, it's not like he could stop me. I didn't realize it until then that this mage was 3 levels below me. You bet I thanked him for that show of respect! Well, and it's not like that chest wouldn't resurrect later for him anyway. It was a really cool feeling.

Aw, that is pretty cute. And if you are going to surprise a lady, a crossbow is a poor choice ;)

lol.... I find being ganked so amusing... I cant wait to do it to others. Im making mad cash at the AH. over 10 g in profit. Peoples willingness to pay above a fair price will probably dry up once the war thing is over. There are so few people on when I play that I barely see anyone so if I run into a horde who wants to camp my body im pretty much screwed for hours, or howver long it takes to res closer and clsoer to a guard. damn rogues.

We should all make alts on the same server (any) - try and keep all the levels consistent. Run em around 1-2 times / week and whatnot.

Yeah no kidding! I knew I was in his crosshairs when first I heard the bowstring getting pulled and next his icon showing up on my screen when he had me bullseyed.

edit: oh and we gotta use our AO names. that way we can start an AO guild. I know mine breaks the rules but Ill just try to avoid the GM's.

I made level 18 and I'm halfway to 19 thanks to our dear Bat on one of them. I just had to point out that treasure chest to thank him. :)

Yes MM, I did go back to that place you told me to stay away from. I died like 5 times but it was worth it. I finished an elite and only had two people helping me but they did at different times. The first was a level 50 orc and the second was like a 35 mage. The mage cheated though, he went and got his level 60 rogue to help me get the last two bracelets. The mage is his alt. LOL

I can't believe the 20 slot soul shard bags are selling for around 8-10 gold! I wanted one so bad! I coulda used it tonight and I know I'll need one in other places. Maybe TB will let me dance for more gold?

I did my first battlegrounds today! Is that ever fast paced! I was amazed I could even keep up let alone do any kills! I got 22 honor kills today and that's 22 more than I thought I would get.

I ran out of soul shards so I went out killing stuff to get some and accidentally levelled to 20. I wanted to stay 19 for awhile longer so I wasn't at the bottom of the food chain in BG. I guess it wouldn't have mattered because this little gobln looking character named "Speedbump" kept taking me out and no he wasn't ganking me. He was just one fast mofo!

I loved it but now I've got a really cool ass spell! Hehehe!

I went into my first(and only) BG at level 21. I got about 50 honor kills in 35 minutes but at that time the score was still only 1 - 0 so I deserted.

I just kept attacking. I also used skills that would stop spells and reduce the chance of escape. The only trouble I had was their fear spells, they would make me run in circles like an idiot until I died.

BG only once because it was taking far too long.... The round was on track to last well over 2 hours.

Just got back from Wailing Caverns! I'm a lev 24 mage, but it was still my first trip through a dungeon, at least my first trip when it wasn't a cakewalk because a lev 60 mage was helping me through it.

It took a while; in fact it took so long that the whole party had to drop out before we were done. I really prefer to work alone most of the time, but my character is so much more effective in groups where warriors and familiars can keep beasites off of me so I can use my excessively nasty powers. Also, even though I was the highest level player there, I was the only one who wasn't playing as an alt, and I learned a lot from more experienced players.
