Welcome back!
Yeah, so I suck at keeping things running consistently.... my bad. Been real busy lately. I messed up a few other things as well. Still working on piecing the main site fragments together. Hopefully that goes smoother than migrating the boards did. We have switched to a new host on a new server and should be back in action. NO MORE DOWNTIME AHEAD.... unless it's out of my control.... or the new servers get nuked.... which isn't entirely out of my control..... anyways I'm rambling....
-The first thing you'll notice (hopefully) is that it's WAY faster. It may not be true tonight or Sunday as I will be moving around multitudes of crap.... but rest assured I got a pro host.... Load times should be down to a minimum.... Additionally no one needs to worry about whoring bandwidth. It's unlimited and unprecedented... crazy notion.... so go nuts for doughnuts.... start by posting me some pr0n to look at.
-After having loaded and looked around the boards.... the next thing you will notice is that I am a moron. I made a site backup at the end of September.... knowing full well I would be migrating the site November 1st. Well the first of November came around, and if you saw monochrome ( our old host ) state plain as day that all the data not saved on or before the 1st would be lost. So.... Yeah. I was busy the final weekend in October... completely spaced it off or maybe thinking I could still retrieve the data...I honestly don't know what I was thinking.... and needless to say it cannot be retrieved and is gone forever. So boys and girls, we have time traveled back to September 23rd temporarily. Apologies, Apologies, Apologies, Apologies, Apologies, Apologies... and sorry. I plan on doing more backups in the future so if something should happen I would have them all on hand (so an entire month just doesn't disappear - Sure wish I woulda thought of that before)
***PLEASE REPORT ANY SITE ISSUES / BUGS / CRASHES / ANOMOLIES IN HERE***
It will help me tons in the next few days if I know what I'm looking for. So if you come across an error page or database crash or something try and post when & where and what you were doing when getting the error.
More to come people.... AO's future is looking good at the moment.
Questions/comments? Perhaps some outrage and or hatred in my greatly deserved flaws? I'll be around all Sunday if you would like to play some Q&A.

Yay the site's back up! Definitely running faster too. Good work MM. I wouldn't worry too much about losing a month. October was over-rated anyway.

I have a feeling I should have switched long ago.... not that our old host was bad or that he was bad.... but we basically outgrew him and he kept having to compensate. It was basically just 1 dude running the hosting - and when I was bringing in traffic I kept blowing up his servers :) I'm gonna miss crashing his stuff and then randomly IM'ing him like.... "lol sorry man, I broke your shit again".
It certainly 'feels' a lot faster though huh? I've noticed by finishing uploading everything and doing some maintenance on the main site it transitions from page to page.

My October surprise was probably having the busiest month in years to coincidence with the host quitting. Just lame when stuff like that happens. Unfortunately now we've lost an entire month of posts.

If you've not done so yet, you should send out a mass email to let people know you're back up and running.

It worked just fine when adding the tags when making the post, but I get the message when going back and trying to add a tag.
I'm using Dark Castle, not sure if that matters or not.
