Symbolism in the Dark Castle skin

I've noticed two symbols in the Dark Castle skin which seem rather odd there. First off, the AO symbol is very reminiscent of the "Anarchy is Order" symbol. Secondly, the eight pointed star below it is a chaosphere, associated with the practice of chaos magic. Were they intentional?

The AO symbol isn't intentional, and when Laz made it he was trying very hard to NOT have it look like the anarchists symbol which is why we're trying to make a new logo that doesn't steer that way.

As far as the Chaos star you'd have to ask the guy who created Dark Castle. I doubt he meant anything symbolic by it, it just fits with the theme.

I doubt it too. When ever I see symbols, I always try to take them into context. The only thing I got from the Chaostar on the Dark Castle Theme was from Warhammer. They use it for for their Hoards of Chaos army. I took the symbolism from the obvious medieval theme of Dark Castle and correlated it with the only other medieval thing I knew that used it.

I picked Dark Castle because it just plain rocks the shit. It's the most popular style we have now since implementation, and that's fine by me. I Liked Dark Castle because it has a fortress feel. It offers visual strength and protection. Since we introduced it, members have been using and enjoying it faster than any other style we've added. It's very impressive and I wish I could tae credit for its design.

RWF definitely put things right out. The AO sign on Dark Castle resembles the anarchy symbol, but that's accidental. The design was merely for aesthetic purposes only. We have a strict government here on AO, so there's no support for anarchy or chaos.
