However, despite the fact that the images are cool, nothing exceptionally special is taking place. Impacts like that are common place in our solar system, especially with Jupiter because of it's large gravity. Look at the Moon for example. Craters upon craters, yet it's not the unique. In space, things hit other things. We are safer on Earth because of our atmosphere.

Besides, what does this have to do with President Ford's death? That impact happened in 1994. Ford died last week. I'm not seeing the connection.

If it's such a "common" event, then how come we know of no other such incident? We can speculate about them, but to actually see it with our own eyes, could only take place within the past century.

I didn't say that it had anything to do with the late President Ford. I just used the concept of the 21 guy salute, which is fresh on everyone's mind, in order to make a point. According to Holy Scripture, the stars and planets, the sun and moon, are time pieces, used to mark the seasons and signs of the times.

Thanks for the "metaphor" compliment. I'm not afraid to use ejaculation as a metaphor, because it implies a sign of hope, as well. After all, the universe is like a giant womb of sorts, and although I won't speculate now on what I believe this great sign represents, I will say that I believe in new beginnings for mankind.

A 21 gun salute can have several different meanings, but it's always an attention getter.

When I say common, I mean in the time scale of our solar system (which is billions of years old), not the time scale of our lifespan. We haven't had the technology to view something like until very recently.

For some reason it bothers me why people ignore God's time piece in the sky. It's like a big alarm clock. It's how the wise men knew Jesus was going to be born. It's how Constantine decided that he would make the first Rome a Christian state.

As for how this may relate to what I've said here. According to the [U.S. Army Center of military history]

"Today the national salute of 21 guns is fired in honor of a national flag, the sovereign or chief of state of a foreign nation, a member of a reigning royal family, and the President, ex-President and President-elect of the United States. It is also fired at noon of the day of the funeral of a President, ex-President, or President-elect.

So, according to our tradtion, which is the criteria we should use, it could only mean one thing. In honor of someone BIG.

Jupiter was the rain god and lord of the sky, making his name an appropriate one for the king of the planets.

First you have to believe what God says. Not necessarily word for word, but at least the underlying meaning set forth in the Bible.

you have to adjust your perceptions on just what in fact the term God implies. the reason people do not see anything of importance is simply because they are too distracted filling themselves with vanity and worthless information that has been pre-arranged and manipulated to keep people dumb and ignorant to the relative simplicity of the nature of life(God). the reason people do not understand God is simply do to the fact that the world teaches us that God is unfathomable... beyond the scope of human understanding... everyone is a sinner, everyone is in need of salvation; this type of hype keeps the agenda of feeling inferior and worthless nicely flowing... our controllers do not desire us to become awake to just how simple the truth is. by keeping us in an ignorant and distracted state(technology-paper brains material-manmade pharmecuticals), people will not willfully question what has been established for them to believe... remember the truth is not established, it just is... everything that has to be established is simply a distraction... it was created to distract us from the truth... religion is one.
