Roswell aliens

On july 2, 1947, William Woody saw a object plunging into the ground. When a couple of days later, Woody and his father, tried to locate the crash area, they were stopped by military personnel.

On july 5, 1947, a rancher called William Mac Barzel had found unusual pieces of what seemed to be metal debris. After dragging some pieces to his home he showed them to the Proctors. The proctors told Brazel to report the incident to the sheriff George Wilcox, who reported it to Major Jesse Marcel, a intelligence officer of the 509 Bomb Group. After that the debris site was closed until all wreckage was cleared. On july 8, 1947, Lt. Walter Haut issued a press release stating that the wreckage of a flying saucer had been recovered. on july 9, 1947, some big newspapers like the San Francisco Chronical published this press release. A few hours later the press release was rescinded an a second one stated that the flying saucer was a weather balloon.

I remember these pics from a few years ago - wasn't there some huge publicity stunt over it then somebody admitted it had all been faked after a great deal of money had been made from the videos, TV programs and books etc?

I feel that to describe these pictures as a "joke" would be a huge understatement and I'm not sure which is more laughable, these pictures or the Doc Shiels Nessie pic in the "Loch Ness Monster" thread.

It's amazing the rubbish people will believe. With these photos or Planet X, the people who came up with the hoax will have made tens of thousands.

Can't decide whether to keep on ranting or come up with my own

Re: Try It!!!!

OK so what shall we have?

1) I am in telepathic contact with aliens and have discovered they're planning an imminent invasion. Buy the book all about it ($14.99 available at all good books stores)

2) An unholy alliance of the Illuminati and Freemasons have been growing a hideous virus as part of their plans for world domination. Send money to help find them and expose them for the secretive oragnisations they are.

3) I have discovered that the Earth's core is going to explode in the next year. Send me money to build a spaceship to take you to safety.

4) Dinosaurs have been found living in a cave in Scotland. Buy the video proving them still exist.

That should start the cash flowing in

I'm selling off land from Jupiter. Anyone want to buy some? I'll send you an official authenticated certificate in a real wooden frame and a free keyring. Plus, if you reply in the next 7 days, I'll send you a bonus gift of my fabulous Jupiter anti-gravity pen.:p

Re: Real Estate

Has anybody started building yet on the moon land you've sold em Mike? I reckon you should be careful about selling too much of it to the Americans. They might build Area 52 there.

Nothing is what it seems and the impossible is an everyday occurence. Don't believe the hype!
Reverse engineering of alien technology is a fantastical lie. I'm going to go nuke a hot dog while I Instant Message my friend in Hong Hong, and watch my satelite TV. Hehehehe.....

Employees even succesfully sued the military base. They wanted the SDS for the chemicals they worked with.
