Of course the obvious one is some kind of economic crisis, big or small it doesn't matter but I would bet the farm its not something any country (notably the US) would want.

Ya how the west coast is battered today from California to Canada, earthquake in Canada, and big storms, and flooding in USA, this start 2008 year pretty big, there is a levee that broke today in USA because of rain, lots of houses in water. Here now, in my place, we will have to go to the village tomorrow, to get what we need, in case of flooding, we have a lot of snow, and thick ice in the river, and we will have high temps for 3 days, so we will be watching it.

I will keep you posted on this, i also talk about this on the weather thread, but i tought it would be also good to put it here.

And that does'nt not count what is happening elswhere like in Australia, Flooding, wind etc. I think that we will have plenty to talk about, to report on, in 2008.

Fires floods and earthquakes sums it all up,i see that LA have floods watching it on tv right now looks bad and worse to come.
Back to predictions: some time in the next coming months there will be an important message,from all of the leaders of the world that will mention that mankind,will face new challenges ahead and that many will face starvation, uprising and war.
There will be uprises that the 21st century will have never seen in the united states ,it will therefore spread around the globe and bring bloodshed among us all.
The horseless carriage and any modern technology will no longer be useful,the days will be bright the nights will be dark,there will be a glow in the sky that man has never seen before.
The fireworks in the sky will appear before the end of this particular year,once gain man will rise up and rebuild the earth and will once again start over.
Hope that makes sense the one that is bugging me ,is the one about the message to the world it keeps popping up in my head.
Blame my mother as her mother was romany gypsy and has always read tarrot cards,but im am a non believer.

Add a BIBLE information and All in your mind boggling will be gone (^^,) and PREPARE for BETTER and PRECISE FACTS....

I predict we will have one of the worst natural disasters ever in the world. Pretty detailed prediction but oh well.

I also predict there is going to be an event that make world wide news and effect everyone. I'm thinking "9/11" sized (maybe), not necessarily terrorist related but of that magnitude that everyone will feel it.

I'm thinking earthquake in Northern California, and while everyone says this is to be expected, and why bother saying anything, it's still important to underline this now. The vibes I'm getting about this quake, are even coming in my dreams. A lot of people are going to die in this one, and it will be very much like Katrina, with respect to the ineffectiveness of the state. Now is the time to prepare. I would have a plan in place for where you can evacuate to, NOW. A third of the homes will not be habitable. Roughly two thirds will be damaged, but livable. That's the magnitude you're looking at. This fault should rupture north and east of San Francisco proper, within a 200 mile radius of the Columbia shuttle debris trail. It will unzip, south to north. Due to the unusual Halloween Eve quake, I'm still uncertain of the timing, but this is the year of my focus.

This is a premonition I had based upon the appearance last year of two humpback whales in the [Sacramento River,] a Mother and calf, which may have entered the bay around May 4th, 2007. I believe that the calf represented the Halloween Eve earthquake, which occurred in the Diablo Range, between Poverty Ridge and San Jose, and the Mother is on the way and will happen in an adjacent fault system. While repentance could delay or even halt this event, it's unlikely that such action will be taken by these residents. This is a very serious prediction, and as many of you know, I have a track record of predicting truly great disasters lately, albeit in cryptic fashion. However, because I'm not a interpretor, I can't guarantee that my analysis is 100%.

I find it very curious that after predicting earlier last year, a great quake would occur within this 200 mile radius of the debris trail of the doomed shuttle Columbia over California, immediately following the Greensburg, Kansas tornado, these two whales likely entered the San Francisco Bay. It probably took them until [May 13th] to be spotted in the delta, but this timing is not to be overlooked, and is why I am very concerned about this. It ties in perfectly to several other threads of material on this subject, which I have written about.

The stock continues to [plummet.] Keep in mind, Countrywide is the largest mortgage company in the United States.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Bank of America said Friday it will buy Countrywide Financial for $4.1 billion in stock, a deal that rescues the country’s biggest mortgage lender and expands the financial services empire of the nation’s largest consumer bank.

The acquisition will make Charlotte-based Bank of America Corp. the nation’s biggest mortgage lender and loan servicer.

Bank of America said it initially plans to operate Countrywide separately under the Countrywide brand, with integration occurring no sooner than 2009 ... cont. at link above.

They don't see beyond their blind optimism that the United States is in deep trouble. There are times when optimism should rule over cynicism, but now is not one of those times.

It's interesting that the first big financial news today, is Bank of America's reported buyout of Countrywide for an estimated 4 billion in stock ... no cash ... which tells me that they aren't worth any.

Here's how the story should read, but the false prophet won't say it, not in 4 billions years.

"USA's largest mortgage lender is worth a tiny fraction of it's original market capitalization, due to hurricane Katrina."

I think most of these predictions are coming already,A number of homes in Sussex have been flooded, while in York, the River Ouse burst its banks yesterday after a week of rain.
Thats without the other part of the uk that has been flooded and so has scotland and of course the us.
War with iran steps a little closer,oil prices are increasing or falling ,the dollar weakening more job cuts,the weather gets worse.
I dont think we have to predict anymore as we are seeing it in front of us right now,and this is only the beginning will we see the end of 2008?

Every man for himself sums it up
Crime amongst the young increasing due to no prospects the forgotten.
Too many families tied up in themselves in not noticing the off springs need attention.
Family breakdown.
These are some of the things that are actually happening and not just in the UK.
They are also smashing other peoples property and why asked are you doing it?
have no real reason at all just say they are bored.
The cops are failing going on strike maybe,prisons over populated law courts failing the victims of crime.
Thats one reason for a social breakdown as many now say and see.
The recent weather we have seen so far will make many more homeless,again crime will increase on the those who have it all ,whillst others go without.
Many will rush buy as foodstocks either run low or run out,many people like the poor and vunerable will starve,or even fight for some by any ways nesscary.

So as you say many predictions are now coming true its just a matter of time.
I think you only have to see whats going on around you, and there you get the real picture of where we are all heading.

Ok been a long time since visiting these board i have a few predictions for 2008

Hillary Clinton will win the 2008 General Election. This prediction is not that i like her in fact its quite the opposite. I have always had a feeling of dread whenever ive seen her. I beleive with what seems like good intention she will drive this country into the ground. She will bring most our troops home which will leave iraq and Afganastan in civil war and ruin. She will raise taxes and thus hurt our already struggling economy.Also sad as it a woman president could make a sleeping enemy think we are week and attack us.(Realize she wont have power till jan 2009 but begins in 2008)

I beleive we will have a later hurricane season and one big storm that will cost alot of lives and damage maybe half the magnitude of katrina.

A new virus will form in a 3rd world country causing an epidemic and killing thousands there.

A cure for diabetes will appear to be found then not pan out

These things just came to me in a dream might not happen but worth posting

TB the lung disease is coming back as we are letting in more immigrants into the uk.
Daily news reports of more job losses due to the us economy,plus the list is getting longer as noticed in todays news reports.
Many wonder if its becoming an uncertain future,the news on the floods in the uk could be worse than 2001.
The rich are also now feeling the pinch as reported today they cannot afford the house prices neither.

This is what is being predicted that the 1930s depression will be even worse this century.

The return of TB has nothing to do with immigrants returning to the UK. Its an endemic disease that still pops up from time to time.

That immigrants get sick more than other people has probably more to do with their lifestyle or crowded immigration centers.
TB always likes to spread in crowded populations.

Im sure milder winters that we are having will make things worse,dengue fever is on the increase,disease in many parts of the world are increasing due to weather.
There are so many diseases springing up and with the population rises wont help neither,as resources are running out.

In 2004, around 1.6 million people died from the disease, mostly in developing countries.
But the incidence of tuberculosis in developed countries is also on the rise, as people's immune systems are weakened by increased use of medication, and higher rates of substance abuse and HIV.
So whilst the health freaks keep telling us to pop the pills to live longer,plus the trends to buy oh i cannot be ill too busy, and of course HIV being ignored by most now.
Keep the surface areas spotlessly clean which are doing more bad than good,as many children are now becoming allergic to most things.
Its no wonder we are heading for trouble,i predict a pandemic of some description
in the near future.
We cannot even keep a number of how many immigrants are coming in,not sure what kind of medical service they recieve neither.
We are slowly losing control ,rats are also increasing in many cities and towns as we cannot be bothered to throw our waste in the trash cans.
Everywhere you look is filth we cannot be bothered again,so it will be no wonder
when it hits the fan.

As underlined today in a [White House news conference,] President Bush highlighted his proposals for preventing an economic recession. He was curiously flanked by a worried looking Vice President, I guess to reassure us all.

I think that a Father's tears sum it up best, when Bush, Sr. related that Jeb hadn't won the Florida governor's race in 1994, which presumably would have propelled him to the presidency before his now infamous son, King George.

Actually, this stimulus plan is not a bad idea, but it won't work this time. The look on the face of his right hand man, says it all. The United States is about to enter an economic Depression, and the real underlying cause is hidden from view. What happened was, hurricane Katrina knocked the wind out of speculation in the real estate market, and the house of cards began to collapse. It's a huge bubble that will take years to unwind the excess of. Worse, when the millions of illegal aliens, who now occupy temporary housing leave for their native lands, it will exacerbate the glut of available living space. This band aid is the last gasp of a failed presidency, that shall end in utter despair.

Look for desperate measures on the part of law breakers, to try and keep illegals here in the U.S., despite the lack of construction jobs.

I had a premonition tonight, which suggested that John McCain will not be successful in his bid for the presidency. Whether this means he will or won't win the nomination, I'm uncertain of, but he will not be elected President.

The Democrats win. Clinton is president. Obama is vice president . The collapse comes after they take office and it's blamed on the woman and the black man. The white rich Bush cabal get off and Arnold comes to the rescue, lol . WWIII starts, Israel bombs Iran. Disease spreads due to bio weaponizing of the bird flu to target everyone that's not pure Caucasian A large decrease in world wide population due to all these facts. Its all about decreasing the foot print of man kind on the planet and getting rid of a lot of worthless eaters. there will be a show in space like we have never seen before in human history.

I'm impressed this year, that I received no more threats regarding the killing of "groundhogs," from the state of confusion. I guess some messages from heaven are heard loud and clear, even by the deaf.

Perhaps the feel of broken glass under foot was enough. I hope so.

However, my warnings to repent are still falling on deaf ears. The arrogance of the Endeavour is not without notice in Heaven. We were given the earth as our dominion, but there is a glass ceiling. Shall we then raise our throne to the sky, without notice from above? Is not the confusion of speech trumped only by the greatest delusion of all?
