Obama's Handwritten Prayer Made Public
Barack "Anti-Christ" Obama slipped a handwritten prayer to God in the cracks of the Western Wall in Israel, a practice that has been around since antiquity. A local student grabbed the prayer and took a picture of it- bad enough, sure, but you might expect that of a child. However, the local paper published the photograph of the prayer on its front page on Friday, a move that has pissed off a good many people.
According to the story posted on CBS News,
..."The rabbi in charge of the Western Wall, Shmuel Rabinovitz, said publishing the note intruded in Obama's intimate relationship with God.
"The notes placed between the stones of the Western Wall are between a person and his maker. It is forbidden to read them or make any use of them," he told Army Radio. The publication "damages the Western Wall and damages the personal, deep part of every one of us that we keep to ourselves," he said...
This makes a very good point- whether or not one believes in God, what anyone writes there, I would consider private and somewhat sacred. Although, it seems, there is nothing sacred anymore in this upside down world.
Of course, what if the whole thing was a set-up? Maybe (if he is really evil) he set it up to only make it LOOK like he was praying to God? Brilliant!!!
In light of that consideration, The prayer of Obama, the Anti-Christ, should read something as follows: (My suggestions in brackets)
Quote:
|
"Lord [Satan]- Protect my family and me. [as well as our minions of evil] Forgive me my sins, [I haven't sinned enough already] and help me guard against pride and despair. [because I know it is ONLY through YOU that we will destroy this world, together!] Give me the wisdom to do what is right and just. [and how about a Brand New Car?] And make me an instrument of your will." [Oh mighty Beelzebub]

Wow. You're actually calling Obama the antichrist now? I have NEVER seen this coming! It's not that I've been pointing fingers or anything, but I'm just simply keeping my eyes open so i won't be decieved. that sort of thing. Of course... it may be entirely possible. america was not mentioned in the bible at all and i remember reading something about the antichrist coming from unknown territory so to speak. I can't help but wonder. Maybe together we can gather more evidence and keep everyone updated- oooh! here's an idea. The staff should have a subforum: The antichrist debate: Who is he? XD! And just for fun we could even throw barney in there *smirk*

It was a joke, Midnight. I do find it hilarious that Obama is being considered as the anti-Christ.
Now Barney... another story entirely. You might be onto something there! He's always been a little creepy, and he also has quite a following.
(I didn't start this thread to tease you, btw, but to poke fun at the idea- as well as post the story. I find it really rude that anyone would go and take someones prayer out of the wall, no matter how famous the person. But once a person runs for public office, I guess anything is game these days.)

I feel you here. We really don't have much of a choice, imho, ever, mostly because of the dominance of the two major parties as well as the fact that only certain candidates even get any coverage at all. Take Kucinich, for instance, I'd really like to see him as President. But he was never taken serious by the media, was teased often by the media, even for his looks and his short stature- yet he has the biggest balls of them all.
And many Paul supporters can share with you the frustration of seeing all the attention go to the "glory" candidates.
The mainstream media is probably the REAL "anti-Christ". It steers our opinions while keeping us from the truth, if we rely only on it. The people that power the major network news, I wonder, who are they working for?

Nah. No offense taken. After all, everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions. And right now, I'm not so sure where I stand with obama in particular. He just simply seems to be too good to be true and for that, I don't trust him.
And because he is charismatic, speaks of promises and good things, and even prayed in the world's holiest sites, it's no wonder that people may believe that he is the antichrist. Whether or not they're right or wrong still hangs in the air yet to be answered.
I was also thinking about the American dollar bill last night and the label "In God we Trust". I think it's a lie because many people don't even believe in God and it should be replaced with "with liberty and justice for all" instead. It's also dictating our freedom of religion- Isn't church and state supposed to be separate? Plus it's an abomination against god in my eyes. I mean think about it. Doesn't it seem wrong that we're pretty much selling out the word of god? Leading everyone to believe that we're god's country? This alone gave me a big clue that the antichrist could possibly come from this country. I'm not sure that if I'm right or wrong on the matter and we'll just have to wait to see how everything plays out to the end.
As for Kucinich, I never even heard of this person. I'll have to do some research on him. To be quite honest, we don't have a very good candidate lineup this year and I don't really know who to vote for this time or if I'm even voting at all. And we have about 95 days left... The days seem to be winding down faster and faster as we edge closer towards the end of '08.
I just pray that '09 could be the year of peace and advancement for everyone, including me.
