Number of tropical systems in 2008, nailed by yours truly
Most of you have heard of [Dr. William Gray] of Colorado State University, who predicts hurricane numbers every year, with marginal success.
As the 2008 hurricane season draws to an official close today, I draw your attention to this curious [POST.]
If this prediction stood alone, it might be considered a fluke, but for those with long memories of [the hurricane prediction contest] I held here last season, this is becoming [a pattern.] A pattern of perfection.

I heard on NPR news today the recap for the hurricane season
NOAA, had predicted an active hurricane season. They also predicted we would have between 16 and 19 hurricanes this year.
Well, if I had that information before making my prediction, I would have chosen 17 as well. Just cause I like 7s.

I'm not saying that the number was totally unexpected. However, for the record, I did not use any method for counting the number of red drops in that pictogram, beyond what seemed to fit on the image. I didn't even know what I was doing, when I drew that image. I was simply inspired to do it. If you want to discount the accuracy of my selection, you'll need to also explain how I managed to draw [an exact map] of [where the lights would go out in Texas,] when that [NUMBER 9 STORM] roared ashore. I don't recall NOAA doing that, ahead of time.
Heck, I even told you in advance [that Texas would be hit twice,] [X 1000], also in cryptic format.
Hurricane Ike was [the costliest storm] in Texas history.
The power of Heaven is with me, because the sole purpose of my message is to ask for repentance, without which, no flesh shall be saved alive.

With the [news YESTERDAY,] that jobless claims soared in November to levels not seen since WWII, it's hard to find a greater description of
"utter despair."

In the book of Job, the [whirlwind] carries God's voice.

"Hurricane Ike can be traced to an westerly wave leaving western Sudan on August 19, which moved westward through Nigeria and Mali and reached the coastal country of Senegal on August 28. Moving into the Atlantic Ocean, the wave slowly intensified over subsequent days while moving generally towards the west-northwest. On September 1, the wave developed a sufficient amount of convection and was designated Tropical Depression Nine. The depression had developed a large amount of convection as well as cyclonically curved bands. Satellite estimates were already indicating that the depression was a tropical storm, however, the National Hurricane Center did not classify it as such because the convection was newly formed. The depression continued to intensify as it became better organized and at 5:00 p.m. EDT (21:00 UTC), it was upgraded to Tropical Storm Ike." - [Source]
