Ah the magic of technology. My kids told me that I could watch the game via live stream. So I am now also watching the Eagles game. Why did I not know about this earlier in the season??? Duh..

Do NOT post ANY details about this in other forums. The NFL will shut you your site down. Just letting you know. Keep it secret. ;)

There is NOTHING that can help the Eagles - well unless all of the Cowboys were to leave the field. WTF??? I thought the Vikings/Giants game was a bloodbath - but at least the Giants actually got on the board. I feel like crying.

I was not able to watch any of the games today, but saw that Brees was sitting the game out, as were others, since the Saints already had home field advantage thruout the playoffs. I am wondering if other playoff bound teams did the same.

Yes. With a 44 to 7 lead over the Giants, the Vikings finally took Favre out and put in his back up.

That's why Vegas hates week-16 every season. Whatta mess.
Teams that rely on inertia rather than momentum, to ease them into the playoffs, never seem to do very-well. -Plus the ones playing at home are ripping-off the season-ticket holders.

Jets beat Bengals... Rex Ryan becomes quoteable.
Cowboys beat Eagles... Philly couldn't overcome key-injuries.
Ravens beat Patriots... New England wasn't hungry.
Cardinals beat Packers... Warner. 'nuff said.

So, now that there are 8 teams left, what are your Super Bowl pics?
Mine:
San Diego versus New Orleans

New Orleans has lost the last three games they played, although their last game was played with their B team. I would see the Cowboys beating Minnesota, and the Saints beating the crap out of Arizona, as the Saints hometown crowd will be out in force supportting a team that has rarely gone to the playoffs in franchiise history and only played playoff games in the Superdome a couple of times. If New Orleans makes it past this upcoming weekend, they will likely go all the way, unless some major injuries were to occur.
San Diego will represent the AFC, as the Colts won't be able to Git R Done.
As to who would win in this matchup, I could only guess.

I'm going to go with the Cowboys (who I hate but they look unbelievable) and the Chargers in the Superbowl. I like NO, but they have lost their momentum.

Part of me thinks you're right... God forbid... I probably hate the Cowgirls as much as you do.
But, I am fairly sure San Diego is the best team in the league, so...

If the Saints play the same game they did today against the Cardinals, I don't think anyone will beat them. Kurt Warner was rushed nearly every play, and took multiple hard hits.

Wow! Did you see that pass by Favre? Beautiful.
Although I picked Dallas to go to the Superbowl, I'd sure love to see them embarrased by the Vikings. It would give me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

The latter. I hate the cowgirls, and thank you Brett Favre. As much as I hate him, I am definitely thankful.
Saints look like the best team again, but the Vikings looked like their equal. Very interesting game coming up... and I'll be on a fucking airplane :curses the world:

Well... anybody but the Colts now, I guess.
If they somehow win the Superbowl, I'll probably re-introduce the phrase; ' what a bummer' into my vocabulary for a few hours that evening.

Strangely I share your sentiments.
Although here is something unfair: the 49ers (my team) missed the playoffs by only 2 games (finished 8-8). They also lost to the Vikings and the Colts by a TOTAL of only 7 points, leading in the 4th quarter in both.
Why the hell should a team that is 2nd in its division have to play TWO teams in the conference championship games? BULLSHIT I say!

Ha! Reading the people saying Saints Chargers SB, Chargers are out and the Vikings are unstoppable.
Since my Pats are out, and I CAN'T root for the colts or jets, I choose Vikings. Also, can't root for Saints, their QB produced the colts QB and we hate the colts.

Destiny owes the Vikes a superbowl-appearance since Staubach's championship 'Hail Mary' game, when Drew Peterson blatantly committed offensive pass-interference to score a TD on the final play. The only thing that softened the blow of me losing 20-bux, was seeing an empty whisky-bottle fly out of the stands, from about 30 rows up, and nail the ref-who-let-the-Cowgirls-win directly on the head.
hmmm, I guess that was a hail-mary too...
