Is NASA hiding something on Mars?

This is an interesting article, it seems that NASA are altering their colors on the mars pictures. In fact, when altered back to normal colors, the sky seems to be blue, and the red rock turn more into brown...

Why are they changing the colors? What's there to hide? Is nasa worried that someone else goes over there to see "something else" than we've always been seeing?

They are probably hiding the truth about Mars because the boys in charge want to focus on what they want, and if people knew the truth about mars, then the boys in charge would have to focus on mars too, and they don't want that. That's just what I think, though. And I have been wrong many times before. Perhaps the picture were tooken on Earth and they just changed the color so they can save money. Maybe all that garbage they are shooting into space are actually tracking satilites and whatnot. They certainly use the right kind of rocket to send one up.

The differences in the two pictures could also be explained by the distortion of light by the atmosphere. Different types of light reflecting off of an object and being recorded by the camera. Just proves that the atmosphere of Mars is different than that of Earth.

NASUCK probably is. I have my doubts of NASUCK's ability tp land on Mars. Those projects that they are starting now and launching 11 YEARS later... I personally think that is all a $$$ making scheme to get more $$ in their pockets and get Bentleys and such.

OK, let's say it's like that, other atmosphere than earth, other colors. But after all those years of BS (or maybe not) they're still going to pull of sh*t like this. I mean they KNOW that there are people out there who WILL see a conspiracy in this. And maybe they want it to be like this, so you get stuck on only on thing : the different colors and nothing else. This used to be not a big problem, but now we have internet......And they're still as stupid as before, now they're going to be attacked in all directions, and so on, didn't they learn anything about the past adventures or tales or conspiracies?

Of course not, they havent learned. I don't think you have comprehended the supidity of NASUCK, I mean, I'm having trouble myself. I mean in the smithsonian, there is a model "sponsored my NASUCK" and they say it is the same scale as it was the real lunar landers but the ROVER was TOO BIG for the LANDER. There are two possibilities:

a) NASUCK is so stupid, they don't remember or got the mesurements wrong for the smithsonian model

b) The whole thing was a fake.


I go with b but a is a real possibility.:roller:

I'm sure the same thing will happen for the spirit, and the upcoming 'probes' like Indipendence or whatever.

They landed on the moon and they landed on mars with the rovers . Why would they need to fake landing on mars????? What would be the whole point of that they werent in a race with the soviets this time. I Dont think the changed the photos why would they need to??? Well, the space race started during the cold war, the US "landed on the moon"(some ppl think the moon landings didnt actually happen) so they can be in front of the Soviets. So now the cold war is over, but they just cant stop with exploration of space because it would be too onvious. That could be apossibility to fake landings on Mars.

If this is an ancient post, then apologies for bringing it up, but it does seem that it was somewhat inconclusive.
The poster has hit upon an interesting point. I happened to have had the privelege of seeing Spirit before it took off and the indicated part of the sundial was indeed blue.

They keep telling us it's so hard to reach Mars, but... it's hard to reach Mars with limited funds, with NASA's civilian funds.
Huston isn't the only place where you can build rockets and other space vehicles. With the budget the defense contractors have they can easily go there and build a station in a short time. No humans needed, the robots will do it instead.

My opinion: military applications.

Its not difficult to reach mars. NASA and the Military both have pretty much perfected ion propulsion engines. the USA has enough advanced technology at its disposal to explore the solar system in just a year or two, if it wanted to. The trouble lies with the funding.

Why should it be another colour?

One could argue that it should be orange due to the dust. But there are days the dust is cleared up enough to show the true colour. Which is a grey blue greenish colour.

The sun is heating, and Mars has ice on its poles, and atmosphere as well. So if the sun heats up the atmosphere, and melts the ice, we get water vapor. The water vapor can make the atmosphere look ...blue?

I think its a pretty known fact that clouds are white or grey.
And aren't the poles made out of condensed carbon dioxide.

It would be interested to see what mars would look like in 1 million year, if it indeed heats up enough.

I remember my dad saying someting about the lunar landing. He said that for some reason it seemed like the guys that landed there were not talking about the moon landing. It was weird he said. He said even the picture of Neil Armstrong seemed to be a fake. My dad is not one to go around saying things like that. I wasn't around I am not sure but I only recall that one pic. and not only that if they could get the one pic why not take a bunch of pics. My dad also mentioned that all of the space suits were burned and that seemed odd to him as well. He said that the Apollo mission was weird because at the time there seemed to be a really really big cover up even saying that it seemed as if something was in the shuttle that sould not have been....something alien or unknown. He said that it felt like they were trying to hide something like actual beings. Again I have to say my dad is not one to go around making statements like this.

Really they are not Hiding something.... Even they hide a thing many leakage of information will come due to greed and evil.....
