I was raised on kosher versions of them made from beef.
Love them all!
I like it sliced thin, fried, served on toast with grilled onions.

I've never tried it... everyone says it's disgusting, so I listen to what they say without question.

Seriously, I've never tried it. What meat is it comparable to, taste wise and texture wise?

Yuck, several times over. I just can't do liver!
The more you chew it, the bigger it gets in your mouth.
Almost like it's still alive!

It's not like eating liver! It's a different consistency. Liverwurst is actually in the sausage family.

Somewhat comparable to pâté de foie gras <spelling might be a little off> except it comes in sausage form and is usually eaten as slices on some bread.

Thats a good question but I can tell you it is completely different than eating liver. It does not taste like liver either. I like it sliced on wheat bread with yellow mustard.

Scout cookies doesn't contain actual boy scouts and baby oil doesn't taste like babies at all.

Your point?

Oh my goodness. You should try it! It's spreadable and doesn't taste like liver at all. It's got a thick, rich, much better flavor. I'd suggest some on wheat bread with a bit of mayo and some dill chips. I haven't had this in a while. That's it...I'm taking a walk to Safeway for lunch today.

lmao

Baby oil might taste more like babies if they didn't put that fragrance in it, but truthfully, very little babies don't have much flavor. You have to introduce them to new foods in order to give them just that right touch of flavor.

You know it's time to clean out your fridge when the Liverwurst snaps at you, the bacon is grazing on the lettuce, and that mystery meat in the corner starts trying to discuss quantum physics with you.
