I'm not sure which scenario would be worse:
1)Iran gains nuclear know-how and has the 'ability' to create nuclear weaponary. Just the nuclear material would be dangerous in the hands of a terrorist organization for dirty bombs. Not to mention it could potentially spark an arms race throughout the region. I've heard the argument of " if everyone has one, no one will use them", and I think that is a load of bunk when it comes to some of these nations. Two words : Extra Crispy.
2)Israeli and/or U.S. military action of Iran involving nuclear based ordinance. Some of the targeted sites are close to civilian centers and the fallout would not only affect them, but a vast area of the middle east...including Iraq and Afghanistan where we currently have many brave men and women stationed. That would be a hell of a situation if we were to irradiate them in the name of 'preventing' the proliferation of nuclear weaponary.
