Extraterrestrial Weapons

To preserve the cooperative, peaceful uses of space for the benefit of all humankind by permanently prohibiting the basing of weapons in space by the United States, and to require the President to take action to adopt and implement a world treaty banning space-based weapons

(i) electronic, psychotronic, or information weapons;

(ii) chemtrails;

(iii) high altitude ultra low frequency weapons systems;

(iv) plasma, electromagnetic, sonic, or ultrasonic weapons;

(v) laser weapons systems;

(vi) strategic, theater, tactical, or extraterrestrial weapons; and

(vii) chemical, biological, environmental, climate, or tectonic weapons.

That's the Congressional Bill in a summarized format. Here's a link to the actual Bill. Bill 107th CONGRESS, 1st Session, H. R. 2977 When you read the actual Bill, you'll notice that there is a distinction made between Space weapons and extraterrestial weapons. Why would we need a Congressional Bill banning extraterrestial weapons? Just a little something I stumbled across.

wth??! i thought our gov't didn't officially recognize the existence of "extraterrestial"s? but they'll write it into legislation?

and since they are writing legislation to limit it, it stands to reason, that these weapons already exist. so who's using them and why don't we know about it? don't HAARP on me for this...

I agree. I read the Bill. I don't see any conspiracy here.

Wouldn't the word space suffice if that's the case? Also, if that's the scenario then why ban them?

Apparently not. When they speak of space based weapons, these weapons are originating from earth, we're just chucking them up there. However extraterrestrial means not originating from earth, hence asteroids or something. Why wouldn't they ban it? I dunno, perhaps using a gravitational pull device thingy on a nearby asteroid causing it to crash into whatever your target may be, would probably be unfair and overkill? :)

Nah, I don't buy that train of thought. Its still a space weapon.
