I saw an interesting documentary on the Balkan war and the dealings of the US intelligence during the war. It seems the US were reluctant to send ground troops in even though Nato and the UN asked for there help. They instead sent countless intelligence agents instead to oversee the war and to dictate numerous outcomes. They even contravened Nato and UN orders, operating covert arms supply OPS to Bosnian forces allowing the Muslims to attack Serbs causing massive Serbian reprisals and huge muslim massacres. They also ignored airspace restrictions during these ops.
During this time Britain and France had signed a treaty basically opening the way for a mobile strategic army to be formed which all saw as a seed for a Euro Mobile Response Army consisting of Euro nation soldiers. This would not be to the benefit of American Future Strategic Policies.
With the alliance of Britain back to the US during the Iraq WMD crisis and the French and German non support, the Euro Army is now back to square one and is conveniently not looking good for quite a while.
Any thoughts guys?
