It is getting bad, and quite alarming, especialy the number and magnitude of the earthquakes in Chillie.

Why be scared? You can't do anything to stop it. It will happen regardless. It doesn't matter when it happens but that it will happen. Live every day as if it were your last.

And you know this to be fact because? or is it just a fear?
Earthquakes happen all the time, check the average earthquakes per year for the last 100 years, it seems normal to me, nothing has changed, nothing is on the increase.
We will have this conversastion at the end of the year and compare the average of all the other years before.

The one thing I would disagree with, as a casual observer, are the growing number of 6+ quakes in areas with little or no past activity. I've seen an up tick in these, recently. I'm not documenting them here, as they're mostly occurring under water, and don't affect people. Still, I'm expecting more, and if they keep happening, then I would suggest some safer living and working quarters for anyone paying close attention.

When you click on the USGS site below, then hover with your cursor over the world map it will tell you the current estimated magnitude of each quake occurring world wide on an hourly(red,) daily(blue) and weekly basis(yellow.) So when you see one over 6.0, click on that point and examine the past historical record for the area under the tab marked "maps."
I'm watching these closely, and the number of what I call "rogue" quakes in the middle of the tectonic plates has been increasing dramatically, since I started watching about five years ago. What this means, I'm still unsure, but my intuition tells me that these rogue quakes are probably signaling a change in the rate of compression or some dynamic in the overall plate system.

Yes, it is cause for concern. However, we are unable to do anything about it. The core is heating up and will soon be at unprecedented levels and the crustal shift will soon play out. 6.0 will seem like .1 when TSHTF.

I told you Crustal Shift was starting:

Chile quake moves city 10 feet
Powerful temblor shifts others parts of South America as well
|
Quote:
The massive 8.8 magnitude earthquake that struck Chile more than a week ago moved the city of Concepción at least 10 feet (3 meters) to the west, seismological measurements indicate.
The violent temblor — the fifth most powerful quake ever measured — shifted other parts of South America as well, from the Falkland Islands (located just east of the southern tip of South America) to Fortaleza, Brazil, situated on that country's northern coast.
The quake occurred off the coast of the Maule region of Chile in one of Earth's seismic hotspots where the Nazca tectonic plate is squeezed under, or subducted below, the neighboring South American plate. Tension builds up as the plates move against each other, and earthquakes such as the one that struck Chile on Feb. 27 relieve these pent-up stresses.

This is being called an aftershock, but regardless, the continued instability is creeping towards Santiago. A great city.

A strong earthquake rocked eastern Indonesia on Sunday morning, registering with a 7.0 magnitude, according to reports.
The quake struck just before 8 a.m. local time. The Indonesian Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) said it did not trigger a tsunami, per BNO News.
The USGS measured the same quake as 6.4 magnitude and says it happened off the coast of Sumatra Island.
There were no initial reports of injuries or damage.
A separate 5.9 earthquake had hit Indonesia just hours earlier on Saturday.

I did ask this question once about too many frequent earthquakes, seems it has become or becoming a fact.
The Punjab also had a moderate quake today as well.
There are going to be more next week id say?
