Does the Bible hold a collection of folk tales?
Cepheus is a circumpolar, tent shaped, constellation whose Gamma star Errai was at the northern Pole position c19110 BC
It has a red cluster outside the tent and a white cluster inside. It is very easy to form an epic around Cepheus based on the story from Genesis 25 of Esau (who came out first - red all over like a hairy garment) and Jacob (who was white). The Biblical story of Esau and Jacob is very strange - but this interpretation using Cepheus (and Orion) makes for much more understanding.
As a note - ancient civilizations often used the stars and constellations to illustrate the tales of the story tellers
