Nostradamus - 2012 - Armageddon - End of the World Scenarios - Natural Disasters

I am very interested in hearing what opinions others have about this concept. I myself am very mixed up over it and I'm not sure what to believe. I am preparing in every way imaginable for a crisis situation but I don't know that it will be enough.

I am still learning here so please don't attack me with any rude comments. I'm just trying to figure things out. Thank you and have a great day!

There is no reason for anything out of the ordinary to happen in 2012. It's just another year. If anything horrible does happen, it could really have happened any year really. We'll all be fine :)

Taco Bell will offer a free trial of their newest Bean Burrito creation... which has tainted beans. The world will get a case of the trots and the environmental impact will bring about the newest war for control of toilet paper manufacturing capabilities... bringing on nuclear armageddon... all over a free burrito. I think 2012 is not the end of the world. But the beggining of some major changes that may end with our demise. I think that a bunch of natural earthly,and cosmic events is going to happen beginning in 2012. Those natural events will put our world governments in direct competition for limited resources whereby bringing about the next World War. This war will be for control over all resources. not just oil but the basics like food and water. Its going to lead to total global collapse. Within our lifetimes. so from 2012 to 2025 shit is going to go real bad for human kind.

Sorry, but did you pull this timeframe of "2012 to 2025" out of your arse, or is it just whatever you've been smoking? While you're here, I'm interested in the dates March to June of 2011. Do you have any thoughts on what might happen? Because I like to make plans in advance you see, and I don't want any obscure "natural earthly and cosmic events" clashing with that.

The question was what do I think. Thats what I think. Just simple belief. This shit wont happen all at once over night. Its going to take time. So id imagine,march through june of 2011 wont be all that interesting. besides. its one year from the kickoff date. those months and that year are BEFORE 2012.

Dates don't mean shit, never have. Besides, calendars change with religion, so its relative to faiths and views.

It doesn't have any significance. If the Christians guessed a different year back then we would be obsessing about 2008 or 2014 right now.

I have to reply to somebody saying something about the Christians guessing a date. If they had guessed a different date, we'd all be obsessing over a different year. But what about the Ancient Oracle Cybil I think her name was. Nostradamus, Ancient Chinese, Ancient Mayans, The Bible, Web Bot Project, Science, The Real Merlin, etc?

Just a question. How significant a coincidence that they have all predicted the same date? Not just the christians.

I"m not intending to start a web fight, I'm just very curious as to how this is all seen as one particular group's guess.

And I have to agree with Demonskates. I believe that we will not see the end of the world, but many years of hard times.

I often times am told that I'm far too paranoid and getting ready for nothing. I hope that's true but I haven't seen any evidence to prove this as fact. All I see is criticism and disregard that is not backed by science. I see plenty of evidence leaning into the direction of some very large changes coming about.

i don't think any thing will happen, the planets will aline and i will be watching. i have thought about it though and IF anything did happen i would think of it as a new world war or even a NWO takeover somthing along those lines. but no, it will just be another day.

years dont cause things to happen. Things happen within years. sometimes those things are predicted.

As I've been studying, no they don't say the world will end.

I've taken this to an astrological standpoint as I'm closer to a naturalist than anything else. It will be the dawn of the age of aquarius and not the end of the world. Several of these religions and cultures in the past have shared the concepts of a new age coming.

There are several takes on this 2012 thing as I've seen. Some see an apocalyptic scenario. Some see a great spiritual transformation. And some see nothing at all.

What I believe is simple. The end of an astrological age. 2000 years coming to an end. The dawn of the age of aquarius.

Its power of suggestion.... just like YK2. A few years ago most people didn't even think about 2012 until the media made mention of it. And the result is all the Bord to death people crawl out of the woodwork hoping for some catastrophe to spice up their otherwise empty lives.

Its Christmas because we say it is, its Halloween because we say it is, its Easter because we say it is, and its 2012 because we say it is.

People have done this silly ass shit for ages, thousands of "Dates" of doom have come and gone over millenium, and we are still here.
