Blossom Goodchild’s Predicted Mass UFO Sighting:
This could be interesting!
Like wildfires in the Australian outback, rumors of an upcoming mass televised UFO sighting over American skies are taking the Internet by storm. Blossom Goodchild, an Aussie actress and author, has the international Ufology community on its ear with channeled information concerning the eminent appearance of a massive extraterrestrial spacecraft for October 14th, 2008. Calling themselves ‘The Federation of Light’, these Beings from another world have stated to Goodchild that they intend not only to make themselves known, but also to remain more or less in place for a full 72 hour period, thereby providing the media with ample opportunity to once and for all capture on film evidence that will silence the skeptics and debunkers forever. The predicted rendezvous point? Alabama.

Let '08 go down as one of the biggest years for mass hoaxes. We had the Montauk Monster, the "alien in the window" photograph, the Bigfoot capture, the Turkey UFO, the "predictions" of Blossom Goodchild, and of course the biggest hoax of all, the US elections!
Seriously though, it was an interesting year but annoying as well. Why do people pay the most attention to the craziest and most sensationally self promoting topics? Personally I'm getting a little sick of viral marketing. That was a pun, get it?

You forgot to add about the 'Man Made Global Warming' to that list of hoaxes for 08.

Good chance most of it will be hoaxed and fake, I mean come on, all that stuff about planet X disturbing our planets gravity?
One of my friends in India and myself are both heavilly interested in many subjects and Astronomy is one of them, and from the study we've done on planet X, it would have to be extremely larger then Jupiter if it is going to have even the slightest effect on our planet and the chances of it flipping our geography is terribly slim... and all this is provided planet X actually exists out there in the cosmos

2012 has nothing to do with nibiru. some moron decided to attach the two one day and it went viral on the interwebs. do not mistake the two for being in any way related. 2012 is about a real astronomical event, the precession of the equinoxes, that happens once every 26,520 years. and we get to see it, on 12/21/12. lucky us, right?

Depends on how Earth handles going through the Dark Rift. Gamma Ray Bursts, extra gravitational pull.. Yay!
