The vids seem to be great entertainment.....(reminds me of the BBC "ghostwatch" series)

Although I'm open minded, I would swear that the lights shown in part 6 are a combination of both satellites, and an aircraft (I think I could almost see a reflection of fuselage from either the landing or ice inspection lights in one of the last UFO's).....which anyone away from a major city can see every night. If you use an IR responsive camera that will enhance the visual spectacle, and give things a different perspective.

UFO is a very broad term, and if the people observing the craft from earth had no idea exactly what they were.......then they are being completely honest, as far as the term goes.

That's just my opinion.....I’m certainly no expert, critic, or sceptic.....anything's possible......I'm probably wrong.

Hello, yeh its definetly an entertaining documentary, some laughable bits.


The last chapter though, I am not so sure they are satelites, dont know about the airplane bit, didnt see it properly.

Its just that Gilliand ranch is quite the "in" place at the moment for lots of people to go and see and visit , even Robbie Williams international superstar has been, surely someone would say, " think they are satelites, or thats a plane, but they dont say that do they, nobody who has been to the ranch does.

Also they was saying, its coming from the mountain, I dont think Danny Dyer would bs himself? you saw his character. unless he withheld for the documentary or didnt see?
now when does a satelite or jet come from the mountain?
guess you would have to be there to verify it.


I agree many UFO'S are just mis-identification, its possible even that even the people who are die hards and know the stuff could get it wrong, like earth lights or ball lightning, even had an experience myself, if Im honest , I dont know what it was, could have been ball lightning or could have been the real deal.

guess thats what keeps us looking up, because we have no way of identifying some things, disregarding satelites and planes and balloons, meteories ect ect.


Has anyone watched "fourth kind" recently? crazy stuff, again true? not true, who knows.

I agree.....it's really hard to judge accurately, without being there. I guess on reflection, I get frustrated by the lack of clarity, definition, and general poor quality of most of the evidence. What most gets me with the vid from part 6, is that despite this ranch being a "hot spot", there is no decent quality video gear.....it's all done from a great distance, with absolutely no clarity.......and half of the footage presented is a video camera plugged into a LCD monitor, being filmed, or a old Gen I/II night vision viewer......I wonder why, the guy says that when you go up to the mountain, (where the portal to centre earth is) there is just a lava wall there........forgive me for being slightly cynical; but with my limited knowledge, that would seem a reasonable location to position a camera, as the footage might be of some interest.

I too, have seen things that for the life of me, I cannot explain.......I guess the difference is I wasn't seeking anything, it just happened.

I'm in the process of building a sky camera at my holiday house, so hopefully I'll get a good idea of satellite and ISS images in the next month or so.

Thanks for the link Ian.....wish I had the budget, and hardware available to these guys. I'm waiting on a 8mm, f/3.5 lens to arrive, and hopefully I can give the system a test run....it's tempting to splash out on a SBIG AllSky-340C....problem is......I enjoy the building, and sorting out design issues process more than the end result.

I've watched the vid's from Gilliand ranch a couple of more times.....and I'm sorry if this is just flogging a dead horse; but every time I pick up something else up which, to me seems suspect. First thing that comes to mind is when James Gilliand says "I think we'll have some more".......the first thing that came to mind was a chemical substance, rather than UFO's......but maybe that's just me.
It's also interesting, that when the light opens up on the mountain, the laser pointer seems to pinpoint the IR source before it is even visible. If you actually watch the sequence that is presented it seems in the wrong order......or is that a coincidence!

I just finished watching The 4th Kind. Wild. It's free on the internet. Poor woman. I could translate some of what the Sumerian was. It floored me the doctor couldn't. I'll have to watch it again and write it down. One of the words was 'Jupiter' which isn't translated in the film.

yeh 4th kind is definetly some freaky shit, if true, then it all comes back to what some on here suspect anyway, that the gods of Sumer are of another intelligence.

I watched this earlier and I found a few parts quite interesting! The crop circles I found interesting, especially how there are holes in the bottom of the stalks which happens when it gets microwaved, also how the crop isn't broken, I do believe a lot of crop circles are hoaxes and man made, but there are some which would be near impossible to create! Why would someone go to all the effort of "microwaving" the crop, bending the crop so it doesn't break and weaving it in layers! Somehow I don't think hoaxers with wooden planks would go to all this extra effort just to create, an artform.

I found the footage of that guy in yorkshire, gwyn was it? Quite interesting... he has invested in over 20k worth of equipment and has got some interesting footage as a result! You have got to respect his dedication to reviewing his footage for 4hours a day!

I found the Autherius Society footage laughable to be quite honest! George Adamski was an out and out fraud and any people who actively worship the crap he came up with really is quite desperate and delusional, but hey that's my opinion.

Now, coming to the Gilliland ranch footage! Very interesting... the fact that it overlooks Washington mountain, is it? Where the modern Ufo era began with Kenneth Arnold interests me a lot. There are daily sightings there, with Ufo's seemingly coming out of the moutain makes me think that there must be a base in there somewhere!

The one UFO I saw when I lived by the coast, came from under the sea, great big ball of light that lit up the dark lane and area I was walking in and shot straight up in the sky , also reported in the press and logged on the internet.

Or perhaps they really was flying objects, real solid flying machines, or perhaps it was just earthlights and some kind of natural phenomena, ( ball lightning), perhaps it was just hallucinations due to the high altitude on the mountain, or it might have been what was explained, supernatural beings.

It could be anything couldnt it.

Well I dunno about proving the existence of UFO's and Aliens JLEE, Its quite a tougue in cheek documentary, kind of a lighthearted look on the subject.

It does highlight some of the phenomenom of UFO's.

Maybe I missed the bit of Information that could prove, beyond doubt the existence of UFO's.

okay this is the third time I'm going to write this! My computer keeps shutting down. Hmmm... wonder if thats a sign? So as I was trying to say, my experiences (34+years) with this UFO thing led me to reply with that statement. I probably shouldn't have written that down. It's very hard to talk about and I got caught up in the vids. I am willing to talk about it but.. well the vids. say a lot. Not too familiar with crop circles & I've never seen the lights streaming from them but that may be new tech. I haven't seen yet. Certainly you must think I'm nuts by now, but I slipped with the first statement and now it's out. There's nothing I can do about it now.

The biggest problem with Gilliland Ranch is it is a for profit business which means no ufos+no mystery=no money and that makes all evidence which comes from there suspect. Also the fact that people have payed they wil see something or at the least assume something normal is a UFO and you will never sway their opinion as seen by Danny Dyer's comments at the end.

Here is an experiment that is very easy to perform. Go to any campground with a good sky view and is nice and remote. We liked to use Pyramid Lake North of Reno Nevada because it also has a mysterious reputation. Spend a little time talking to people and ask people if they had heard about the UFOs campers have been reporting. First you will get confirmations which are lies (unless of course you pick a spot that has had UFOs reported). Second as the night progresses you will usually without fail get people seeing things in the sky and pointing them out. Watch and listen. If you see what they are looking at, observe it but listen to the decriptions. They will say it changes shape or color, didn't it just speed up or zig zag a little, while you see nothing.

We have tried this with almost unwavering success. Twice we threw out the whole thing because we happened to pick a night with meteor showers and there was just too much to see anyway. The one rule we also use is never tell the people you were setting them up. Why would you? You gave them a little thrill for nothing and something to talk about at work.

You will get these results from people just out having a good time, who have not paid for and are expecting to see UFOs.

As for the beam of light effect it looks very similar to errors you will get from a night vision camera that is trying to autofocus on the source and send errant data while compensating. Also on an LCD display you can get similar effects from a bad cable, ghosting the brightest patterns on the screen almost like an extended halo.
