Well its a modified excaliber. The concept comes out of Germany, better rails,
and trigger action. I have done a lot of changes myself, trying to lighten up things a bit. At present, I'm just under 5lb. dead weight. and the pull is 185lb using the recurve, and about 200lb with the compound set up.
The whole outfit folds down into backpack.

The whole idea behind this weapon is that sometimes breakfast walks down the street. I took this picture with my cell phone, as I didn't want to spook him. He likes the apples in the neighbors place nextdoor.
Although I have never used it for food, its nice to have the option if needed.

Are there special restrictions on black powder weapons as well???

I believe black powder isn't as restricted as high powered sniper rifles but then again ... we DO have a neo-Nazi as Prime Minister, so ...
actually, that's not fair - neo-Nazi's at least Like some of humanity. Stephen Harper seems to be more a complete sociopath and is thus disconnected from everyone ...
and I too know a few people with some 'interesting' toys - I myself own a few 'illegal' bladed weapons, not projectile. and I found out that I can get convicted and sent to jail for a longer term for possession of a 'butterfly' knife (6 inch blade, 440 stainless with brass handles and kevlar inlays) than I would if I was caught with a 9mm Glock ...
funny how that works ...

a butterfly knife can get you locked up??? That's absurd...
When I am out running around here I always got a buck folder on my hip in a sheath... and when i am out in the mountains i carry a bowie on my hip.... hell i bet my little leatherman could get me in trouble up there... seems almost ignorant to me... but i have met very few political hacks that were anything but ignorant.... scared of their own shadows...

Asshole. I don't have anything against people who just brag about target shooting and what guns are best. But don't post a picture of a dead creature you killed and brag about it like it's a prize. Have some fucking respect.

Theres so many lines about that pic of Uki. I can hear something about him holding his balls. Or maybe something about the Ol' ball and chain. (thinks of some more)
