but why is this a conspiracy theory? what is the theory that he is trying to present, that the rothschilds are ruling the world? i didn't see anything other than a timeline showing there involvement throughout history, why is that a conspiracy theory? i understand that many probably think solve has this anti american tilt but many of his posts have been very informative and i think it is always info that should be looked into, by putting everything he writes in the conspiracy section i think many will pass it by. just my opinion.

First line of the article: "The Rothschilds have been in control of the world for a very long time, and I produce my evidence for this below in a timeline." The timeline is used in order to support the thesis put forward, i.e. that there's a secret force which hides in the shadows and rules the world without anyone being aware of their presense. Sounds like a textbook conspiracy theory to me.

That's true, and there will probably be some people who don't read conspiracy theories, who will pass this by. But, y'know what? That's their perogative. This forum is organized so people can focus on their personal interests without having to dig around stuff they don't care about - if you want to discuss the latest in science and technology, but babbling about religion bores you, you can skip straight to the good stuff.

There are a lot of people who want to keep up-to-date with current events, but who think conspiracy theories are BS. That's why these two forums were created separately. If I left something like this post in the Current Events section of the site, it would be a waste of time for people who don't want to hear about banking conspiracies. So I put it here, where those interested in conspiracies can go through it at their leisure.

Yeah, some people aren't going to look into conspiracy theories. And maybe you could argue that they should. But I'm here to make sure everyone on the forum is enjoying the site, not to assign homework. Let people who want to look at conspiracy theories come check out this section of the site. And let people who don't care about conspiracy theories ignore it.

You may be right. But with all the bullshit posting that has been going on lately (Phil has moved several threads to the conspiracy theory section lately), it is natural to expect some cracking down.
If it's not broadcasted on a respectable news medium, it really isn't subjected to an adequate level of scrutiny, and so it really shouldn't be considered on the same level of legitimacy. (keep in mind that more mainstream press are posted all over for all to scrutinize- and any credibility flaw can drastically affect the bottom line)
Some may consider that unfair, but consider that many of the same people posting these "legitimate peices of ignored news" are the same people spouting off about the Illuminati, Roswell, JFK , the Moon landing, and all that other crap. I mean seriously, how can we be expected to take people serious who dream up these kinds of things? So let me get this straight...you think that I am making all of this up, or following some ever growing group of conspiracy nuts? Thats what I get out of this comment.

With that said, Yes I do believe that there is a group of so called elites, that are working tward world government, and the most simple yet most decieving way is through the monetary system. Its common fact that alot of these Big Central banks are owned and controlled by alot of people in interesting groups, ie. Trilateral Commision, Bilderburg Group, Council on Foreign Relations, ect.. Coincidence? I think not, and my view on September 11th is pretty well known...is it really so far out there to feel that we have been purposfully decieved reguarding the facts surrounding that?
